The Upstate at times feels woefully deplete of brunch, but now The Kennedy has started brunch on both Saturdays and Sundays for our noshing pleasure.

The best thing about the eatery, under the deft hand of last year’s Chef Ambassador William Cribb and his brother Jamie (home from chef-ing at Wild Olive on Johns Island), is an ever-changing menu of craveable, gorgable items you’ll want to eat: egg sammy on a homemade muffin, buttered grits sourced from Colonial Milling, sweet potato pancakes with peppered sorghum, ridiculous gravy biscuits. The hits just go on including all-day rose for $21 (yes please) and a yellow tomato Bloody Mary that’s slurpable.

Not one plate on the menu is more than $11. Most range from $5-8. Real food, farm fresh, within reach pricing. Thank you Cribb Bros.
