Chef Greg McPhee of The Anchorage will be representing S.C. at this year’s Terra Vita Food & Drink Festival. On October 18, he’ll be a big part of the Hill Fire Dinner where chefs get to do what they do best: play with fire. This year, the dinner features the third dish: vegetables and the harvest of local farms (as well as some fabulous expected fire cooked proteins).

So what will our James Beard Nominated Chef be making? Local root veggies will be grilled and topped with horseradish butter, radish green puree, seaweed, and charred onion powder. McPhee says the educational aspect of Terra Vita is unique and gives him a chance to not only to bring awareness to what they do and love at The Anchorage but also to learn from an amazing line up of peers and those working to create a more sustainable food system in the Carolinas.

Want to go? I’ll be there! It’s a steal of a ticket at just $80 for who’s cookin’, cider and cocktails included.
