St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner (cue the bagpipe). If Savannah is too booked or Chicago is too far away, we have you covered with plenty of local events happening on March 17. Just look at it as our pot of gold to you. 🌈💰

If you’re here for the party...

St. Patty’s Day Parade + Irish Festival | NOMA Square

The festival begins at 1:30 in NOMA Square and the parade’s at 2 p.m., heading up Main St to reach the party. Spectators will get the full Irish treatment: bagpipes, horse drawn carriages + floats. Definitely get there early for parking + a great view.

Update: The parade’s been canceled due to rain. ☹️ 🌧

If you + the little ones are feeling active...

7th Annual St Patty’s Day Dash + Bash | Fluor Field | 8 a.m.

A day of fun + exercise if you’re not the beer-chugging type. There will be a 5K run for adults and kids ($10 for kids to participate, $30+ for adults). Proceeds will benefit Let There Be Mom, GHS Children’s Hospital, Camp Spearhead, and The Meyer Center. Registration ends Mar. 15. 👟
Ancient Order of Hibernians Harp & Shamrock St. Patrick’s Parade | NOMA Square | 1 p.m. | Music, food, inflatables for the children, face painting, balloon animals, popcorn and more.

If you’re looking to increase your good luck + karma…

Clemson One Main’s St. Patty’s Day Celebration | Greenville Country Club | 6:30 p.m.

Spend St. Patty’s Day raising money for a great cause with Clemson superstars like CJ Spiller, Faizon Love + Charlie Whitehurst. 🏈 The event will feature music, food, entertainment, and a silent auction, with proceeds going towards athletic internships, scholarships, and community service. Tickets are $100.
