The owners of Sidewall carried over one distinguishing feature into their new cocktail bar: polished concrete floors. The real eye-catcher is the sputnik lights over the half-moon-shaped bar – the decor is space-themed throughout without trying too much to be themed.

Let’s get to the food: The Brussels sprouts with honey lemon Sriracha glaze, chilled burrata and squash with balsamic-marinated veggies, and snack-sized burgers served on house-made brioche buns or in a lettuce wrap. Grab one for a snack or mix up a meal with a couple.

The real reason behind the opening of this place was for the cocktails. The Bless Your Heart! is the perfect adult iced tea. But you’ll have to try the drinks for yourself.

Rocket Surgery is open Thursday – Monday at 5 p.m.
