President Trump, visting S.C.?

The State

The Federal Aviation Administration sent out a memo yesterday telling pilots to “expect VIP movement” on Friday in the vicinity of Charleston. Why?

It’s speculated that President Trump will be visiting Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner plant in North Charleston.

A reason might be that the plant’s about 3,000 workers are voting Wednesday on whether to join the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers.

If he visits, he will be the first sitting president to visit the plant. Nearly 55 percent of South Carolinians voted for Trump in November.
