Raw fish hasn’t exactly been a staple in the average Southern diet until recently when Greenvillians were introduced to poke (pronounced like “okay”). Think of it like deconstructed sushi.

Soon, Greenville will have its own all-poke restaurant: Poke Bros. is expected to open at 3935 Pelham Road next month. There are already two locations in Columbia, S.C. and two in Columbus, Ohio.
