Opening weekend for the Swamp Rabbits is not just about starting their eighth season with games against the Wheeling Nailers – it’s about the fans. Two pregame Fan Fests will be held in the Furman Plaza from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on October 13 + 14. Also, the first 750 fans will receive a handyclapper noisemaker to cheer on the team.

Bring friends with you on Friday night to participate in the 8 team Corn-hole Tournament to battle for prizes from Thomas Creek Brewery and Swamp Rabbits swag. (Register at SwampRabbits.com)

Bring the kids along to try their hockey skills in the Dew Street Hockey Zone or bounce in the inflatable playhouses. There will also be $2 food/$3 drinks for sale from Centerplate catering and orange level tickets to the game will only be $10.

On Saturday night when the Swamp Rabbits score their first goal, that will be your cue to start throwing some undies. Wait, what? Yep, bring in new underwear + diapers to throw onto the ice – all items will be donated to the Salvation Army.
