Your obscene bumper sticker can cost you

SC Driving Laws

$200. That’s the fine you’ll have to pay for displaying “obscene or indecent” stickers on your car. We bet you didn’t know that was a driving law in S.C.

Or what about cruising in the fast lane for too long? Spending an excessive amount of time in the left lane (and causing traffic to backup) can get you a $155 ticket + 2 points on your license.

While S.C. has laws some interesting motorist laws in place, there also seem to be some laws that are missing. Like, there’s no law against letting your pet sit in your lap while you’re driving. (Guilty. 😺) Nor is there a law against wearing headphones while behind the wheel.
