After eight years, the City of Simpsonville is parting ways with TRZ Live, the company that’s managed the CCNB Amphitheatre at Heritage Park since 2017. City Council voted unanimously to end the contract effective Jan. 30, with plans to select a new venue management company by the end of the year. (Greenville News)

The 27th Upstate Disc Golf Classic lands at Timmons Park this weekend with 70+ players competing. Heads up — pickleball courts will be closed from 7 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9 to accommodate parking and spectators.

Who’s joining Greenville City Council?

The results are in for the City of Greenville municipal election, where three city council seats were on the ballot. According to WSPA:
At-Large
Tina Belge defeated Matt Alexander and will take Russell Stall’s seat after he decided not to run for reelection after two terms.
District 2
Lillian Brock Flemming defeated Mike Kilgore and will continue to represent District 2 — she has been on city council since 1981.
