Feast By The Field is the best event for sampling a variety of bites from a range of chefs. | Photo provided by euphoria
It’s official: “Top Chef” has started filming in the Carolinas. According to our sources, production details are on lock and cloaked in secrecy — but we have good news. Former “Top Chef” Cheftestants, “Chopped” Champions, and other chefs who’ve shown off their skills on the screen will be in town for euphoria.
“Yes Chef,” “Top Chef,” “Bobby’s Triple Threat,” “Chopped,” “Beat Bobby Flay” + “Cooking Under Fire”
My spiciest bite from euphoria 2024 was from this Raleigh chef, so it’s fitting that you’ll find him at Bubbles & Bold Flavors.
“The Next Food Network Star” + “BBQ Brawl: Flay v. Chauhan v. Lofaso”
Another euphoria favorite, this Lowcountry chef is serving up at Party in the Park(sold out), Local Roots & Ocean Treasures(sold out), and Sunday’s Feast by the Field. Pro tip: Locals get $15 off tickets to Feast by the Field on Sunday with a local billing address.
“Holiday Cake Wars” + “Halloween Wars”
This local chef isn’t just cooking, he’s carving as a self-taught food artist — and you’ll find him at Aged to Perfection.

No one wants to think about menopause. The thought of facing another round of intense hormonal changes as a mature woman is daunting, especially if you’re not sure what to actually expect.
The good news? You don’t have to figure it all out alone.
The interactive event is designed to help women (+ their partners) to enter the next phase of life empowered and supported. Reserve a seat to join the information session and discussion on:

“With many fault lines running throughout the state, the risk of earthquakes is greater than many people realize,” said the SC Emergency Management Division. There have been 19 earthquakes reported in SC this month, and 13 of them were in the Upstate.
Outdoors
Speaking of environmental impacts, heavy rains this month have boosted fungi growth across the Upstate. Experts say South Carolina is home to 3,000+ varieties — from edible chanterelles to insect-infecting cordyceps straight out of “The Last of Us.” Read more about what mushrooms are sprouting up everywhere and why. We can only assume “Top Chef” is in Charlotte to kick things off, and my friend Maria at CLTtoday is giving us a peek behind-the-scenes at what the Cheftestants will experience. She spoke with Season 22 winner Chef Tristen Epps (who went to culinary school in Charlotte) + “Chopped” champion Chris Coleman, who — as mentioned above — will also be at euphoria this year.
