Getting the sniffles? A cleaner home and some fresh air might help. | Photos provided by Two Maids
Let’s be real — it’s hard to focus on our health when life gets busy.
We typically spend 90% of our time indoors, according to the EPA, so the state of our homes can really impact our well-being. HVAC systems circulate dust, pet dander, and allergens, making the air quality a little less than ideal for our health.
So, how can you give your health a boost? Here are two simple ways:
🥾 Get outside more
Take your dog for a stroll along the scenic Lake Trail at Conestee Nature Preserve, breathe in the fresh air, and let nature recharge your soul.
Psst…Two Maids knows you’re busy. Whether you need regular cleanings or a one-time deep clean, call them at 864-626-3343, and they’ll create a plan that fits your schedule.
1,156 acres. That’s the estimated size of the Table Rock fire as of the SC Forestry Commission’s update last night. Officials say they’re concerned about the weather over the next few days, which calls for low humidity + wind speeds that could spread the fire. You can keep an eye on progress today on the SC State Parks Table Rock webcam.

Dining + design in North Main
We’re getting our first glance at her designs. | Renderings by DP3 Architects
The Black Sheep, a fine dining restaurant, will open this summer at the corner of North Main and Stone (in the former Two Chefs location).
Chef Danielle Grigorian says the eatery will take an “innovative approach” to Mediterranean cuisine, blending influences from Spain and Morocco to Lebanon and Armenia. The menu will honor Grigorian’s heritage while “pushing culinary boundaries.”
In addition to the menu, you can sip on craft cocktails in the lounge and at the full bar.
Grigorian’s background as a former interior designer allowed her to personally design the restaurant, which she says is also a reflection of her love for design.
“I can’t wait to share it with Greenville,” Grigorian says.

What will Greenville transportation look like in 2050?
As SCDOT plans ahead 25 years, we asked you what things will look like in our city: 44% see Main Street as pedestrian-only + 43% expect widely-used public transit.
Here were a few other ideas you submitted:
“A high speed train station in Greenville County to transport passengers to Asheville, Charleston, Charlotte, Columbia, and Atlanta.”
“Automated vehicles on dedicated ribbon-ways will reduce congestion, increase safety, and satisfy riders from housing to jobs and vital services”
A few of you also said, “no potholes!” and — well — it’s nice to dream, right?
