This local organization helps parents with terminal illnesses leave lasting memories for their kids after they’re gone. From staging a senior prom to making a quilt with old T-shirts as a keepsake, Let There Be Mom finds ways to create memories that might not otherwise happen.

Here’s some goal-orious news. Former Brazilian soccer superstar Ronaldinho — widely considered one of the greatest soccer players of all time — has joined the Greenville Triumph club’s ownership group. The deal was official on Wednesday, Oct. 10 as he rang the bell at the New York Stock Exchange.
“His influence in the sport is unmatched,” said Greenville Triumph Chairman Joe Erwin. said, “His presence within our ownership group speaks volumes about the direction we are heading as a club.”
This comes just ahead of the 2026 World Cup. (Atlanta is the closest host city to Greenville.) Ronaldinho’s involvement is expected to add international recognition to the Triumph and Liberty teams + the Upstate soccer scene as a whole.
Ronaldinho won back-to-back FIFA World Player of the Year awards, helped lead Brazil to a World Cup victory in 2002 + is the only player ever to have won a World Cup, a Copa América, a Confederations Cup, a Champions League, a Copa Libertadores, and a Ballon d’Or.
