Hold your horses, GVL — World Champions Rodeo Alliance’s (WRCA) Rodeo Carolina is bringing the best rodeo athletes to Mill Spring, NC this weekend for three days of competition at Tryon International.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities’ (RHMC) Red Shoe Society is hosting its sixth annual Plane Pull on Saturday, Oct. 14 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Taking place adjacent to the Runway Café at the Greenville Downtown Airport, all proceeds from this feat-of-strength fundraiser will benefit RHMC.
Festival
It’s kind of a big dill. Grab your pickle loving friends and head to Carolina Bauernhaus on Saturday, Oct. 8 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. for its first Piedmont Pickle Festival. Located at 556 Perry Ave., Ste. B118, you can partake in a pickle tasting, play pickleball, and participate in a pickle costume contest.

Halloween is going to the dogs. The Dapper Dog — located at 201 Murray Dr., Mauldin — is hosting its Howl-O-Ween Doggy Parade and Bash on Sunday, Oct. 29. Dress up those pups and have a howling good time. More details will be announced next week on its Instagram.
