Mauldin’s getting a city center. Meet Maverick Yards, an entertainment district with homes and future access to the Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail.
The city sold 6.5 acres to the Parker Group and Longbranch Development for $1.15 million to help transform Mauldin “to a destination.”
A 20,000-sqft industrial warehouse will become “The Pickle Yard” featuring:
- Pickleball courts
- 3-4 food concepts
- A beer garden
- A stage for live entertainment
- Outdoor seating
There will also be 40+ townhomes for rent.
Demolition begins this summer and it’s all slated to open in winter 2024.
