November is National Entrepreneurship Month – a month that celebrates the success of those who boost our economy and empower our community. This month, in partnership with Greenville County High Schools, Junior Achievement of the Upstate of South Carolina is following its mission to empower the youth of our community to own their economic success; by engaging over 20 local entrepreneurs with students to help inspire them to explore the opportunities and challenges of entrepreneurship.

The initiative brings local community leaders together to help students better understand the imagination, innovative thinking, management skills and risk-taking that are required to operate a business. The Junior Achievement program follows the organization’s mission to instruct youth in financial literacy, entrepreneurship and workforce readiness.

As the key drivers of employment, we are proud to support the entrepreneurs of our community. National Entrepreneur Month enables them to spend quality time with our youth to share experiences, successes and key learnings that help prepare our youth to own their economic success.
