If y’all haven’t yet seen the new Popeyes chicken sandwich wreak havoc on Twitter by creating a Chick-fil-A vs. Popeyes feud, then you probably don’t spend too much time online (in which case, good for you).

Basically, Popeyes announced that they would be adding a chicken sandwich to their menu and people freaked out. Anyway, if you missed it, you can catch up on that story here.

In the spirit of all of the new hype around chicken sandwiches, we wanted to share a few places where you can get the next best thing – a chicken biscuit. Here’s some Greenville chicken biscuits that’ll really make your mouth water. We asked y’all on our Instagram story where your fave chicken biscuit came from, and this is what you said.

Habitap, 1325 Miller Rd.

Can you really try to tell us this isn’t the best looking chicken biscuit you’ve ever seen?

Maple Street Biscuit Company, 18 E North St.

Maple Street Biscuit Co. was the most suggested when we asked on our stories. Pictured is the Five and Dime: a flaky biscuit, all natural fried chicken breast, pecan wood smoked bacon, fried egg, cheddar cheese topped with sausage gravy.

Biscuit Head, 823 S Church St.

Biscuit head was the second most suggested. These people know how to do biscuits. The one pictured above is a fried chicken biscuit sandwich with slaw, hollandaise, buffalo sauce, a poached egg + chèvre.

Tommy’s Country Ham House, 214 Rutherford St.

An oldie but a goodie. Tommy’s has been around since 1985.

Fork and Plough, 1629 E North St.

Their menu changes daily, so be sure to check the daily menu online before heading in. This biscuit above covered in mustard looks perfect.

Caviar & Bananas, 1 N Laurens St.

This chicken biscuit is as big as your head. No really. #Protip: pair it with their new strawberry frosé.

Disclaimer: This is not a definitive list of every chicken biscuit option in Greenville. These are just the ones y’all suggested in our Instagram stories. Did we miss your favorite chicken biscuit? Let us know in a comment below.
