#MustDos for March 🗓

It’s International Month, which means it’s time to try something new, like learning a new language or discovering more about other cultures – maybe for your job or just before a big trip.

🗣 If you are looking to brush up on those language skills from your college days, you can register here for Upstate International’s spring classes (starting the week of March 19) – anything from American sign language, French, Chinese, Spanish, Japanese, Italian or German classes.

🏠 If you just moved to the area (or know someone who did), Upstate International also helps with relocation services like finding accommodations, social security services, driver’s licenses, English classes at varying levels, or making connections for people who want to start a business.

🎉 If you are just here for the party, here are some awesome events going on for International Month:

Caliente Cuba: A Night of Hot Art and Cool Culture | March 1 | 6 – 9 p.m. | Artist’s Guild Gallery of Greenville | 200 N Main St. | $30/members, $40/non-members 💃🏻

Hina Matsuri Doll Festival | March 3 | 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. | The Children’s Museum | Children can create their own paper dolls, origami + other culture-based activities.

Learn A Language Saturday | March 3 | 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. | Upstate International | 9 S Memminger St | 15 minute free sessions to discover a new language like Swahili, Japanese, French or Spanish

India Association of Greenville Holi 2018 | March 4 | Vedic Center | 520 Bethel Dr. in Mauldin | 12:30 – 3:30 p.m. | Pro tip: Carpool + bring towels or plastic bags to cover your seats for the ride back home.

Israeli Folk Dance | March 5 | 7 p.m. | Sears Shelter at McPherson Park | 100 E Park Ave | $10 pre-registration or $3/4 at the door

International Trivia Night | March 14 | 5 – 8 p.m. | Grateful Brew | Trivia starts at 6:30 p.m. | Teams can have up to 5 people (including the team captain) and can win prizes for winning team and best team name.❓

Bilingual Storytime/Cuentos Bilingues | March 16 | 4:30 – 5:15 p.m. | Hughes Main Library 📚
