The Greenville Humane Society opened its new medical center, which is attached to the adoption center + features a surgery suite, 3 exam rooms, and kennels to hold 80+ adoptable pets.

The shelter’s adoption and medical facilities have been operating over capacity recently, requiring the organization to double the space. The new medical center doubles the space for the spay and neuter clinic, vaccine clinic, and public and adoptable pet holding areas.

Over $3 million was raised from donors and grants through a campaign called “Expanding Our Paw Print: Strengthening the bond between pets and our community,” which was a tremendous help in building the expansion.

P.S. No taxpayer dollars were used to construct the facility.
