Greenville Health System has plans to open a new 4,120-square-foot surgery center at 1413 John B. White Sr. Blvd. next month.
It will include two operating rooms for doctors to perform gastrointestinal, general surgery, ophthalmology, podiatry and pain procedures.
The building will also include a multi-specialty office space for physicians performing gastrointestinal and general surgery. There will be enough space for add services in the future, according to Dr. Wendell James, GHS regional chief clinical officer for Greer and Spartanburg.
