I trek the Carolinas looking for great street tacos, and let me tell you, they are at Burrito Hub in Spartanburg. It’s the new spot where McClellan’s Southern Kitchen used to be in the cute orange buildingyes, I still miss their chicken and waffles too. But the folks behind Burrito Hub are dead serious about authentic Mexican food from street tacos and giant overstuffed burritos (get the carnitas burrito) to the half-dozen house-made salsas and sauces (the mango habanero is to die for).

Have I mentioned the SPOT ON guacamole, the likes of which I haven’t had since I lived in Southern California?

Go see the super friendly Hugo Montanez and his team at Burrito Hub. There’s something for everyone, veg-heads included, and they are now open for lunch and dinner with margs, frozen and on the rocks.
