We are talking the Future Chord Music Festival, a one-day compilation of the best up and coming bands of the southeast on August 12th at the Spinning Jenny.

Last Summer the event hosted groups like Carpool party, Alarm Drum, and Art Contest. This year’s lineup includes The Francis Vertigo, Apricot Blush, Brother Oliver, Estuarie, The Apartment Club, Wasted Wine, the Excons, and The Junior Astronomers, who just released their new album “Body Language”. DYK they toured with Modest Mouse and the All Get Out?

It’s a night of celebrating local artist and great Indie Music only for a $15 fee at the door. Where else can you hear psychedelic-folk, experimental alt-rock and heavy indie-rock all in one place? Click here if you want to know more and here to jam out a little bit.
