Fantasy draft for Spring 2018 classes

When I was an undergrad at Old Dominion in Virginia, my friends who had recently entered “the real world” kept reminding me to take advantage of every opportunity college has to offer – sign up for cool electives (not just easy-A filler classes); say yes to dollar beer night (while it’s still socially acceptable); join an intramural league (which I totally did).

Now that I, too, work a 9-5 (more like a 24/7 when you run GVLtoday), I fully realize that my four years of waking up 15 minutes before my 10 a.m. class and taking courses like “Musical Theatre Workshop” •just because I felt like it• were truly more precious than gold.

Here are 5 cool, intriguing, or just plain fun courses offered by local colleges that I would take if I could turn back time…

🎓 BKP-182-N01 | Artisan Breads | Greenville Tech | The key is to try not to eat every batch. 🥖

🎓 MTH-120-N01 | Introduction to Massage | Greenville Tech | Maybe we just need our S.O.’s to sign up for this...

🎓 COM-111 Argumentation | Furman | Study theories, strategies + ethics of argument. For the next time someone tries to tell you they don’t like your outfit.

ASL 1010 - American Sign Language I | Clemson | *Signs up for class + immediately adds to LinkedIn skills*

🎓 DANC 1500 | Modern Dance I | Clemson | Basic principles of dance movement + vocabulary. 💃 🕺 Pre-req: watch Saturday Night Fever.
