Event Spotlight: Creating Greenville’s nonprofit landscape: Literally. With paint.

Shine the Light Forums

There are dozens of valuable organizations in Greenville working to better the communities they serve. Each organization brings something specific to the non-profit landscape. Next week, Shine the Light, a non-profit forum is creating an opportunity to showcase this landscape through art.

More than 200 attendees are coming together to design a large format canvas showcasing the Greenville’s many nonprofit organizations. This is also the launch event in a 4-part half-day series called “Creativity: A Pathway to Change” (so fitting).

Attend: March 1 | 4 – 6 p.m. | Zen | 924 S. Main St. | Register at www.nonprofitforums.org.

Want to be a part of planning the forums? Grady Powell will be leading a forum session called “Thinking Differently” and helped develop a survey to inform the session. Click here to take the survey.

The learning forums are supported by The Community Foundation of Greenville, the United Way of Greenville County and the Hollingsworth Funds for nonprofit professionals and their board members and are focused on leadership strategies.

Since its launch in 2010, more than 1,800 participants and 400 organizations have attended and supported Shine the Light Nonprofit Forums.
