When was the last time you went to the gym with a bar? And no, not a barre. A local upstate entrepreneur has created the perfect union of two of his favorite things; fitness and adult cider. #HYDRATION

Owner and operator, Derrick Cannon lives what he refers to as an “80/20 Life.” 80 percent healthy and 20 percent fun!

It was his love of fitness and touring local breweries that led him to create Distinct Fitness and Training and Distinct Cider Room.

His beautiful and talented fiancé Heather Bramlett, plans to offer healthy lifestyle classes, fitness tutoring, and fitness summer camps for children. How does she have time to teach 5th grade?

Nestled behind the Greenville Downtown Airport, you’ll find Derrick’s brilliant amalgamation of fitness and cider.

Whether you’re a fitness novice or an exercise guru, Derrick and his gym welcome all people. He and his staff have created a space that is relaxed, productive, and fun.

Chris Kaplan, a regular gym member, enjoys the camaraderie and savors a well earned, ice cold cider. We at OTG think you should too, because calories from cider don’t count after a workout, right?

With over 15 years in the fitness industry, Derrick is hanging around waiting for you to try your first exercise class for FREE. Did we mention he’s also a TRX Certified Trainer, AND CPR/First Aid certified (*breathe).

The Cider Room is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a workout.

The Cider Room offers 8 different canned ciders, 10 different bottled ciders, and 5 different regional and local ciders on tap. Watching your sugar? No problem, Derrick knows his ciders. He’ll school you.

Derrick plans to incorporate a covered outdoor seating area, a stage for outdoor performances, and Greenville’s first Ciderfest, which will include local breweries.

Give them a follow on social media to keep up!
