The real estate market in Greenville can be quite the wild ride, and we know why. Our city is full of Southern charm, economic growth, and – our favorite reason – it’s beautiful.

Numbers to know:

  • 45: The average number of days on the market (as of Oct. 2018)
  • $232,000: The average price for all closed sales in October 2018
  • 4.8%: The average increase in sales prices in Greenville
  • 4.85% is the current market interest rate and analysts predict rates will reach 5.5% by this time next year, so buyers will pay less to buy a house today than at any time in the near future.

More on those numbers here.

Introducing DigsDigest: A new GVLtoday series where we profile people in search of the perfect #digs.

Recently, our readers Jacob + Laura (a couple both under 30) reached out and asked us which neighborhood is best for their $350k budget. We did some snooping and asked our readers + followers for recommendations.

Here are 7 suggestions and we’re asking y’all to choose which one you think is the best fit. Vote for your top pick below:

Got a neighborhood suggestion? Let us know in the comments + check out some of the recs our readers have given us –

“Eastover! Just bought there and love it! Right by Cleveland Park. Smaller houses…1500-1800 square feet…2-3 bedrooms, but the location is PRIME” — Molly

“Poplar Forest near Furman” — Brittany
