Remember Think Tank Brew Lab? Construction hit a little snag, but the owners hope to open up the space on Airport Rd soon.

A new mixed-use development was recently announced about a quarter mile away from Think Tank. The Junction @ Downtown Airport (📍301 Airport Rd.) will neighbor the Greenville Humane Society and sit perfectly alongside a soon-to-be-developed extension of the Swamp Rabbit Trail.

💪 7,700 sq. ft. of gym space

Developers hope to have an entertainment space in the front yard for outdoor games + concerts/movies.

Construction on the project is set to begin Labor Day. Developers are looking for a variety of tenants so the Junction @ Downtown Airport becomes a hub for people.

As for an update with the Greenville Health System’s Swamp Rabbit Trail extension (along Laurens Road, Keith Drive, Airport Road, etc.), the City + County say they are still working with property owners on land donations. Until the land is donated or easement agreements are given, timetables for a trail extension opening cannot be predicted.
