If you stand in Willy Taco’s Feed & Seed’s parking lot and look across the street you may not realize you’re staring straight at Zorba, home of an epic classic club sandwich, steak sandwich, burger, fried wings and hot hot big fat steak fries.

The first thing to know about Zorba (besides that it’s the ultimate dive bar with red vinyl padded upholstery kinda everywhere) is that it’s a bit pricey. You’ll get charged for ANY change to your order and this can add up. But is it worth it? Ohhh yeah. I add provolone and grilled onions to my steak sammy and cannot imagine it any other way.

The second thing is that every plate is gigantic. I always need a to-go box and this somewhat nullifies my first point, since you’ll get a second meal out of your visit.

Lastly, Zorba is a people watching, cross-section of Greenville dream come true. Show up early for lunch and stay late and enjoy the show. The experience is for sure an eat-like-a-local #BucketDish.
