Last month, we told you that Lidl, a German grocery chain and Aldi competitor had it’s sights set on a plot of land off of Wade Hampton Ave. (in front of Wade Hampton High). Now it seems that Aldi just upped the ante in Greenville Co. purchasing a plot of land on the corner of N. Pleasantburg and Worley Rd.. (Don’t you just love the smell of free enterprise in the morning?)
This will mark the fourth grocery in the Cherrydale supermarket and the third Aldi store in the area (Taylors and Greer).
