Concept of what could be at 319 Rhett St. | Rendering by Gateway Ventures, Dynamik Design via The City of Greenville .

The proposal for a mixed-use development at 319 Rhett St. (next to Otto Izakaya) has been resubmitted to the City of Greenville Design Review Board Urban Panel.

What’s proposed?

The proposed concept features the following:

  • An 11-story, 249-unit multifamily complex with a pool and courtyard
  • A nine-story, 154-room hotel with a cafe + rooftop restaurant
  • A single-story, 5,000-sqft retail space
  • A four-story, 525-space parking garage

This won’t be the first time the DRB has seen plans for 319 Rhett St. The first proposal was submitted in August, discussed in a neighborhood meeting in September, and reviewed by the DRB Urban Panel in October.

What’s different?

Based on feedback from the board and community, changes include, but are not limited to:

  • 37 additional parking
  • Design changes (think: additional patio spaces, mural art, and exterior lighting)

What’s next?

The proposal will be reviewed by the board on Thursday, Jan. 5 at 4 p.m. Tune into the meeting .
