Where to celebrate Oktoberfest in Greenville + The Upstate

The annual festival officially kicks off in Munich this Fri., Sept. 16 and throughout the month in the Upstate.

Prost, Greenville. It may still be September, but Oktoberfest is upon us. Oktoberfest is an annual folk festival that takes place in Munich, Germany + many parts of the US.

Kick off die Feierlichkeiten (the celebrations) with German beer + food this weekend at these three Oktoberfest events:

🍻 Marzen and Brats Oktoberfest | Sat., Sept. 17 | 2-10 p.m. | Tetrad Brewing Co., 603 E. Stone Ave. | Free entry | Prost with beer launches, brats and pretzels, live music + more.

🍻 Oktoberfest at Habitap | Fri.., Sept. 16-Sun., Oct. 16 | Times vary | Habitap, 1325 Miller Rd. | Free entry | Nom on specialty food, beers, and pairings.

🍻 Iron Hill Brewery Oktoberfest | Fri., Sept. 16-Sun., Oct. 2 | Times vary | Iron Hill Brewery, 741 Haywood Rd. | Free entry | Enjoy authentic dishes like currywurst, Iron Hill brews + a commemorative mug.
