Hi, GVL. Kayla here, 6AM Branded Content Creator. Like a lot of people, I spent my high school summers working as a camp counselor. In my case, it was at a YMCA day camp in central New Jersey. I have warm memories of that place, but I have to admit: YMCA Camp Greenville puts it to shame. Why? The Pretty Place Chapel , for one. (If I hadn’t already gotten married, I would 100% be making a reservation here.)

A little history: The Fred W. Symmes Chapel was constructed in 1941 + got the name Pretty Place due to its spectacular views. Camp Greenville welcomes visitors to use the chapel, except for when it’s booked for events – like weddings.

Reason #1: This view, though.

That. Sunset.

The force is strong with this view.

Reason #2: Keepsake portraits like these.

No big deal. It’s whatever.

It’s fine. This is casual.

I’m not crying. You’re crying.

Reason #3: It’s a showcase for the Upstate outdoors.

Is this heaven?

This sky is for sure making all your out of state relatives want to move to Greenville.

When your love lights up the sky.

How to book

Learn more about Pretty Place, check out the chapel schedule (open March-November) + make a reservation request here . They have lots of availability in 2020, and they still have limited availability for this year if you’re looking for last minute elopements, weekday weddings, or vow renewals for a special anniversary. 💐
