ICYMI, the team behind Warehouse at Vaughns (109 W. Trade St., Simpsonville) has opened a new sister location in Greenville. Meet Warehouse at Midtown .
The new food hall, located off Laurens Road (1418 Laurens Rd.), took over the former Frugal Backpacker space at the left corner of the multi-store shopping center, which houses Trek Bicycle Store and Wilson’s variety store.
Here’s what you can expect from your visit:
The space
The front of the hall houses a variety of bar-height seating + traditional tables, a stage, and The TapHouse, featuring an assortment of craft brews — details below. Walking into the back, you’ll find more bar-height seating, booths, food vendors, and a full bar. Outside on the right side of the building are umbrella-covered picnic tables.
The food
There are three dining options in the food hall:
- The Flying Philly, which serves Philly cheese steaks like the Classic Steak + other sandwiches, wings, and barbecue.
- Bourbon St. Burgers’ menu is similar to that of its Warehouse at Vaughn’s location, with burgers, salads, and sides like sweet potato fries.
- Midtown Market will serve pizzas, pretzels, and paninis, plus some sweet treats like ice cream.
The drinks
The TapHouse features 20+ local and regional craft beers on draft, plus prosecco and wine by the glass (pro tip: try a few craft beers by ordering a beer flight). You can also order $4 domestic beers and seltzers and $6 bottled ciders.
You can find cocktails at Bourbon St. Burgers’ full bar and a variety of non-alcoholic drinks at the three food vendors. Oh, did we mention Midtown Market’s boozy milkshakes?
The happenings
With a permanent stage, there will be no shortage of events at Warehouse at Midtown. Follow Warehouse at Midtown on Facebook and Instagram for updates on upcoming music events + game nights, like music bingo. When you’re there, take a look at the back wall by The TapHouse.
