The City of Greenville recently heard updates from the Greenville Housing Fund on the state of affordable housing in Greenville + around Unity Park. Here’s an overview, by the numbers.

$15.5 million: Amount the city has invested for affordable housing in donated land + funds.

4: Number of affordable housing developments in the works at Unity Park — Southernside Senior I and Southernside Senior II, Oscar Apartments, and Lighthouse at Unity Park.

789: Number of residents Greenville Housing Fund currently has in 451 homes — the goal is provide affordable housing to 1,000 people.

~9: Total acres around Unity Park dedicated to affordable housing

4,000: Number of people currently on the wait list for affordable housing

14: Number of housing projects Greenville Housing Fund plans to build for residents ranging from from 20%-100% AMI (average median income)
