Coming soon to the Airport Loop.

We may be a bit biased, but we think the Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail is one of our city’s best features, and City of Greenville leaders agree. In fact, they want new trails + want to improve the existing ones.

The Greenville Journal broke down updates about current and future trail projects that were presented to city council earlier this month.

  • March | Construction will be finished on phase two of Sliding Rock Trail in Nicholtown.
  • Spring | The bidding process for the new Cleveland Park pedestrian bridge with a Greenville Zoo connection will proceed.
  • Summer | The bidding process for the Laurens Road green line extensions to Nicholtown, Gower, and Verde will proceed.

Other updates include a new pedestrian bridge over Verdae Boulevard, large-scale pavement repairs, the Airport Loop Trail, a North Main trail connector, and a Timmons Park Connector.
