~1,600. That’s how many pounds of litter volunteers picked up at Conestee Nature Preserve over the weekend.

Recent flooding at the preserve caused trash to wash up in lower lying areas, but it was no match for volunteers who collected 80 bags of litter in partnership with the SC Aquarium , Girls Who Hike SC , and Keep Greenville County Beautiful .

If you want to help with future clean up events, keep an eye on Conestee Nature Preserve’s social media for sign ups.
