Restaurant Week South Carolina is here, y’all. We don’t mess around with hangry people so we are getting straight to the point.

Here’s what you need to know:

📆 It’s longer than a week – Restaurant Week starts today and ends on Jan. 21

💁‍ You’ll probably run into at least one local celebrity (foodies like Christen Clinkscales, Ariel Turner, Michelle Parker, + Nichole Livengood are sure to be around)

🍝 Even though you can spend $35 for a prix-fixe meal instead of the usual $100 during Restaurant Week, most restaurants’ regular menus will still be available.

📱 Tag #rwsc and @restaurantweeksc or @restaurantweekgreenville on Facebook for a chance to see your photos reposted.

What’s new this year?

🎨 Eight local artists (including Once Again Sam, Lindsay McPhail, Susan Sorrell + more) decorated lower case wooden g’s that will be hidden around town by GVL celebs. Follow @restaurantweeksc + on Facebook for clues on the locations and get there first to win a restaurant gift card and keep the “g” as a souvenir.

🔍 A new feature on the website from South Carolina Restaurant and Lodging Association allows you to refine your search of participating restaurants based on location, dietary restrictions + pet/kid-friendliness.

Here are the menus we’re most excited to try:

Jordan’s pick: The Lazy Goat

Brussels Sprouts – Sherry Glaze, Ham, Manchego

Pasta of the Day – Chef’s Selection of Pasta, Sauce, Preparation (no meat, obviously)

Kendall’s pick: Nose Dive

Braised Short Rib Over Nose Dive Four-Cheese Mac n Cheese – Four Cheese Sauce, Sharp Cheddar, Fontina, Gruyere, Ricotta Salata
