S.C. says texting while driving is #inexcusable

The State
Cool, now that you’ve put down you’re phones if you were reading while driving...

Nationwide, insurance premiums have jumped 11% since 2011 and South Carolina saw a spike of 8.9% in just the last year.

Why? The breakdown: Increase in drivers text while driving -> drivers gets distracted -> drivers wreck -> insurance companies lose money -> insurance companies raise premiums.
So what can we do? Well, the South Carolina Insurance Department wants you to pledge not to text and drive in their newest campaign, #inexcusable.

You can take the pledge here.
