The Warehouse Theatre is bringing audiences “The Mountaintop,” one of the most celebrated plays of the past decade. The show offers a unique look at Martin Luther King, Jr.’s final night, combining history, emotion, and unforgettable storytelling.

Chef Joe Cash is officially a James Beard Nominee. The Scoundrel chef and owner is adding another accolade to his resume, which also includes Greenville’s first Michelin Star. He’s one of five chefs in the Best Chef: Southeast category, and we’ll find out who wins on Monday, June 15.
Festival
The South Carolina New Play Festival returns July 29-Aug. 9 with a stacked lineup, including a world-premiere musical on Greenville native Josh White. Expect new plays, a late-night variety show, a Broadway cabaret, and a 19th-century Belgian dance hall popping up downtown. See the full lineup.
Civic
Greenville is mapping out its next decade of parks, trails, and play. The city’s first Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Master Plan — now in the works with public input — will guide future investments, trail connections, and amenities, with a final draft expected this fall. (Greenville Journal)

VisitGreenvilleSC is headed to Main Street, with plans to relocate its sales and marketing office to Poinsett Plaza. The tourism organization leased a 7,812-sqft fifth-floor suite at 104 S. Main St., swapping its current space in the Innovate Building on River Street for a bigger footprint. (Upstate Business Journal)
