There’s a new concession spot, and it’s grab-and-go. Right behind home plate (in the former Subway stand), you’ll find hot and cold ballpark favorites and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic).

“If (Greenville-Pickens Speedway) can survive, the (CARS Tour) will be first in line to return, and I’ll be the first entry.” That’s what Dale Earnhardt Jr. Tweeted last week, after members of the Pickens County Planning Commission denied developers’ plans to destroy the speedway. Making history through entertainment
Paul has been the general manager since 2015. | Photo by GVLtoday
As we continue our Women’s History Month series spotlighting women making history in Greenville today, I loved seeing Executive Director of the Greenville Symphony Jessica Satava nominate Beth Paul — women supporting women.
Paul is the General Manager of Bon Secours Wellness Arena. Satava noted Paul’s commitment to community, inclusion, and service through entertainment and the arts, but we’d be remiss not to mention how she is a driving force who makes weeks like this one — with March Madness in town on the heels of a record SEC Women’s Basketball Tournament — possible, having a vast economic impact on our city. She’s also leading plans for $282 million in improvements in the Arena District, including a new amphitheatre.
Nominations remain open, and we’ll be spotlighting some of your picks throughout the month — so, keep them coming.
A pair of arch support socks that are engineered with biofeedback technology to improve foot alignment and stability. The Buy Editor Emily loves wearing them for runs and on days she’s on her feet a lot — thanks, hyperactive puppies.
Every time I open Facebook, I see someone in a local group asking about soft-serve margaritas. It’s the latest TikTok trend, and it seems they’re hard to find. I finally found a local-ish spot that’s teasing them: Catrina’s Cocktails & Grill in Powdersville. Know of another spot swirling out this trend? Reply to this email and let me know.
