I recently enjoyed an incredible lunch at Soby’s with Chef Jon Buck (the James Beard semifinalist formerly of Husk Greenville), now at the helm of the beloved Greenville institution. The menu took “farm-to-table” to a new level:
I enjoyed the sweetest beets I’ve ever tasted from Clem’s Organic Gardens, paired with Split Creek Farms’ goat cheese feta — a dish you’ll find on the menu this fall. Of course, I ate the famous Soby’s shrimp and grits, with Anson Mills white grits and Providence Farm sausage. And a new bite for me was the Providence Farm pork belly served with Bradford Farms collard greens.
Plus, Bradford Farms’ Nat Bradford, Anson Mills founder Glenn Roberts, and Providence Farm founders Colleen and Donald Snow joined us to speak about how their ingredients made it on our plates.
