Do you support the potential increase in parking fees as Greenville grows?
Yesterday, we told you the City of Greenville may raise downtown garage rates — up to $4 for the second hour and $10 max daily — as it weighs aligning fees with similar cities to support parking infrastructure as Greenville grows. Council discussed the possible changes on Monday, Aug. 11. Mayor Knox White floated the idea of two free hours in garages. This was just the start of the conversation, but what do you think?
Despite the recent wildfire, wildlife is thriving in the Table Rock watershed. Greenville Water’s trail cameras captured several animals returning to the area. Conservationists say fire can alter habitat for decades, but this crew said, “Hold my beer water.”
