Coming soon, with the help of Paris Mountain supporters. | Rendering via Friends of Paris Mountain State Park
Each fall, local and regional artists hit the stage at Paris Mountain State Park for a solar-powered music series, and Music in the Woods has become a Greenville tradition.
Unfortunately in 2024, only three of the eight planned concerts happened after Helene destroyed the park’s stage.
It’s one of the biggest projects Paris Mountain, with the help of Friends of Paris Mountain (a local 501C3 supporting the park), is tackling in 2025.
The group organizes fundraising events, like the Polar Plunge that took place on New Year’s Day and raised $3,400+.

Do you want to know what warmed my soul (and my very cold hands) on the chilly winter weekend? The Jones Oyster Co.'s oyster roast. I’m losing count of how many I’ve gone to because I keep going back for more. If you love oysters, the $80 ticket is a great value + you’ll probably leave with new friends who shuck alongside you.
This is the first year they’re doing them every month from October to March, so get your tickets to the remaining roasts. You can also shuck Jones oysters at the upcoming euphoria event, A Southern Remedy.
