Learning is a lifelong endeavor — or at least, that’s how the University of South Carolina sees it. Through Continuing Education and Conferences (CEC), the university offers programs for South Carolinians of all ages to continue pursuing education.
Here are four ways you can take advantage of USC-CEC’s programs:
Utilize full conference and event planning services for your next event, or rent their newly-renovated conference center.
Sign kids up for youth and teen pre-university programs, such as Carolina Masters Scholars Summer Adventure Series, or test prep courses (for students of all ages).
Take a fun, short-term class on a personal interest topic, like American Sign Language or even a course studying Time’s Person of the Year, Taylor Swift.

Blind Tiger Tattoo Co. re-opens with a street-level shop in The Village of West Greenville

Have you been itching for new ink?Blind Tiger Tattoo Co. — The Village of West Greenville’s first tattoo shop — reopened its new street-level location on Saturday, Jan. 27.
If you’ve lived in Greenville for a while, you probably remember when local artist Joseph Bradley’s art studio was destroyed in a fire. What you might not know is Bradley planned to lease half of the space to the local tattoo shop.
After the fire, some red tape, and opening a “hidden” appointment-only location in The Village, Blind Tiger now has a shiny new street-front studio at 1282 Pendleton St., Ste. A.
Owner + artist Justin Walker tells us he and the other artists are excited to offer walk-ins and take appointments.

Thermal, fleece-lined leggings that look like sheer tights. Pair them with your favorite skirts and dresses to keep your legs toasty this winter.
Fun fact: I got this tattoo from Justin Walker when Blind Tiger Tattoo Co. opened its appointment-only location. It’s inspired by a line from my favorite movie, “V for Vendetta.” I can’t wait to get more.
