It’s been a while since we shared an update on the proposed high-speed train between Atlanta and Charlotte. On Friday, Dec. 8, we learned new funding from The White House will fund the ongoing consideration of the project.
What’s new?
Across the country, 69 railroad projects in 44 states — including this one — will receive a piece of $34.5 million from the Corridor Identification and Development Program. The program creates a new foundation for planning future investments for high-speed railways and will provide the project $500,000.

I always joke that I married into Greenville because my husband was born and raised here. I fell in love with his city through the wedding planning process. We got married two years ago today, moved back to Greenville shortly after, and the rest is history. Happy anniversary, Clay.
