Getting wrecked with Robert Jon Burrison
5 questions with Robert Jon & the Wreck’s Robert Jon Burrison

We asked front man Robert Jon Burrison about the band’s Southern Rock sound — which he says was “not a conscious decision” — and their inaugural stop in our city.
What does the band like to do on a stop in a new city like Greenville?
Sometimes we don’t have a lot of time in each city to experience what it has to offer, so we kind of judge the cities off the people that come to the show. If [they] are excited and are having a great time, that means we enjoy that city in a weird way.
You heard him, Greenville. Get excited and click below to get tickets to tomorrow’s show, plus see four more questions with Robert Jon.
I’m thriving from all of these live music events coming up, especially the Carolina beach band performances. If you’re like me and need to practice your shag dancing before one of the shows, check out Upstate Shag Lessons or Carolina Shag Club.
