Today — Thurs., Nov. 3 — is National Sandwich Day. While we love anything that comes between two slices of bread, here’s just a few sandwich joints wheat just can’t get enough of:

🥪 For the ultimate hoagie
Harry’s Hoagies , 1700-A East North St.
Order the Godfather and don’t forget the long hots.

🥪 For an upscale PB and J
SOCIETY Sandwich Bar & Social Club , 18 E. Coffee St.
PB and J as it should be: Deep-fried in puff pastry with housemade jam.

🥪 For an all-Upstate sandwich
Duke Sandwich Company , 1001 Poinsett Hwy.
A Southerner’s dream grilled cheese made with pimento cheese, bacon, and tomato jam.

Don’t worry — we didn’t forget about Sully’s Steamers or Swamp Rabbit Cafe & Grocery. We served up some of our top sandwiches in Greenville here .
