Mark your calendars for July 31. Apart from being editor Grace’s birthday, on July 31 Greenville will be hosting Le Dîner en Blanc .
What is that?
We don’t have all of the details, but what we do know is that this pop-up event will take place in one of Greenville’s public spaces, but the “where” is a secret. Ticket-buyers won’t find out where the event takes place until the day of. The dress code? Elegant and white attire only. Are you intrigued yet? We sure are.
Other requirements? Guests must bring a table, two (white, of course) chairs, and a white tablecloth. You can bring your own picnic basket of food or you have the option to pre-order food that can be picked up at the caterer site.
Dîner en Blanc International was founded earlier this year in Canada, and the organization has been putting together “secret posh picnics” in different cities around the world ever since.
