Greenville brand is growing but keeps its roots here

Upstate Business Journal
Coast Apparel, now owned by Delta Apparel, will be opening up its flagship store at 324 S. Main St. by the Peace Center in the next few weeks. The shopping space is about 2,000 square feet, double the size of their two outlets on Augusta Street and Pawleys Island.

The company was founded in 2009 by Greenvillian Chad Odom and his business partner Blayne Henderson. Their products, including shirts, shorts, and headwear (all with the crab logo, obviously) are sold at 30 boutiques in the Carolinas, Georgia and Florida.

After announcing the acquisition of Coast, Delta CEO Robert W. Humphreys said there are plans to “immediately add more Coast retail stores.”
