Can you tell Kate Spade from Goodwill?

Don’t sleep on Goodwill – they have some really awesome finds, especially if you’re willing to do a little digging. (Some of their clothes still have the tags on them.) And if you’re lucky enough to monogram-match with someone else in GVL, you can snag a personalized Lilly Pulitzer bag for of the price.

Every purchase or donation you make at Goodwill helps provide jobs in S.C. (A donation of 6 shirts 👕 + 2 pairs of jeans 👖 = 1 hour of a job-search class for a person in your neighborhood.) Last year, they placed 11,786 people across the U.S. into jobs.

To see what the Goodwill on Woodruff Rd. had to offer, Jordan (our engagement editor), Heather and I (GVLtoday’s producers) went shopping – then took to Instagram, Facebook + Twitter to ask y’all:

Which one of us is *not* wearing Goodwill head-to-toe?

You answered who you thought was wearing their own clothes with:

62% Heather (left)

17% Jordan (middle)

21% Kendall (right)

A few of you thought all of us were actually in Goodwill finds. Honestly, we were each able to find outfits that look exactly like our everyday clothes.

Now, drumroll please… Who wasn’t wearing Goodwill?

Our producer Heather, who rocks those bows all the time.✌️Apparently the handbag gave her away…

Here’s the Goodwill outfit she found, and the grand total of our Goodwill gems.

Jordan’s outfit:

Dress: Pink Owl, $6.50

Shoes: Xhilaration, $6.50

Bag: Nine West, $5.25

Total spent: $18.25

And our total for all three outfits: $59.15. Sounds like a good deal to us.

Last year, 90 million+ people nationwide made the planet a lil’ healthier by donating their gently used items to Goodwill. Positively impacting your community is that easy. And it lets someone appreciate that brand new Columbia shirt that was too small for you. 🙏
