A collaborative dinner series is on the menu at Scoundrel. Located at 18 N. Main St., this French eatery by Greenville native, Chef Joe Cash, is what he calls “a letter home.” We’re considering this new addition a delicious post script.

In his “Friends in Mischief” series, Chef Joe will bring friends from his culinary journey to our city to collaborate on a four-course meal.

Up first: Chef Marcin Krol — formerly of Maison in Paris. Chef Joe and Chef Marcin worked together at Noma, a three-Michelin-star restaurant in Copenhagen, Denmark run by Chef René Redzepi. Considered one of the best and most influential restaurants in the world, Noma has topped the the list of “World’s 50 Best Restaurants” five times.

“(Scoundrel is) a culmination of all my favorite restaurants and experiences that I’ve come to know after traveling and cooking,” Chef Joe said in June 2022 on the patio of Scoundrel, construction well underway inside. Over a year later, we can’t wait to experience this new dining offering building on that concept.

Though seats for the first dinners of the series “inspired by the bounty of the summer season” on Friday, Aug. 11 or Saturday, Aug. 12 are sold out, stay tuned for future dates.
